RENO, Nev. – Reno Police are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead with a gunshot wound in her apartment on Thursday morning.
Police were called to the apartment complex in the 100 block of North Virginia Street around 8:45 a.m. on November 16 after a report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found the woman already deceased with a gunshot wound.
Detectives from the Robbery Homicide Unit are investigating the case and have identified a suspect, Malik Coleman. They believe that Coleman knew the victim and that the shooting was not a random act of violence.
