LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Southern Nevada does somewhat better than the nation as a whole when it comes to COVID-19 boosting.
Compared to the 15% of persons countrywide who are 5 years of age and older, 25% of people in southern Nevada have gotten the most recent booster.
The proportion of people who have had a vaccination rises significantly for those over 65.
Southern Nevada has shown a decrease in COVID-19 hospitalizations, according to the CDC.
Despite a rather high positive percentage, community spread is still quite modest.
Recent statistics could indicate that some instances are not being recorded.
