LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, an automobile ran over a 77-year-old man, killing him.
The event, according to LVMPD, took place around 1:06 PM. 22nd January at 2052 Quarry Ridge Street, close to Sahara Avenue and Town Center Drive.
The driver, according to the police, got out of a gold 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the driveway. According to LVMPD, the car was parked but left running. The automobile began to roll backward in the driveway, according to the police, and the 77-year-old driver was struck to the ground. LVMPD said that the automobile rolled over the man.
On-site medical personnel declared the individual deceased. Once next of kin is informed, the man will be identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Investigations into the collision are ongoing.
