A Pedestrian Died Two Days After an Accident in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS – Two days after a crash in the central Las Vegas valley, one individual has been confirmed dead.
Around 6 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to a collision between a car and a pedestrian near E. Washington and N. Las Vegas Blvd.
On Las Vegas Boulevard, a 2006 Nissan struck a pedestrian who was walking outside of the marked crosswalk.
The pedestrian was critically injured and was taken to the hospital.
The driver remained at the site and showed no signs of intoxication.
On Saturday, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at UMC.
This is the 141st traffic-related death reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department this year.
The crash is still being investigated.
