LAS VEGAS – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man has died after being allegedly shot by his brother during an argument last week. The incident occurred on Thursday, June 1, just before 9 p.m. in the 5300 block of Willow in Littlefield, AZ.
According to the report, dispatch received a call from a woman residing in the area, stating that her neighbor had arrived on her property with visible gunshot wounds, claiming to have been shot by his brother. The victim alleged that after the argument escalated, he retaliated by shooting his brother before seeking refuge at the neighbor’s house.
Authorities responded to the scene, and the victim was transported to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The other involved individual was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has initiated an ongoing investigation into the incident to gather more details surrounding the events leading up to the fatal shooting.
