LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – A Christmas contest is being held to assist various nonprofit groups in the Las Vegas area.
The “Wreaths of Hope” tournament will begin Monday, Nov. 21, at seven of Boyd Gaming’s facilities.
Wreaths will be decorated in the spirit of local non-profits. Following that, the wreaths will be displayed at seven Boyd Gaming casino resorts: Aliante, The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, Cannery, and Main Street Station.
Voting for the best wreath will be open through Friday, December 16. Voting is available at each participating location, on Boyd Gaming’s social media channels, and online at BoydGaming.com/Wreaths-of-Hope.
To vote on property, a player’s card account is necessary, and guests must be 21 or older.
The tournament will give roughly $65,000 in prize money to non-profits in the Las Vegas valley. The seven properties will each provide a $8,500 prize pool to participating organizations, with a $3,000 first-place reward and a minimum of $1,000 guaranteed for all competitors.
A separate social media contest will provide a $5,000 prize fund to the top three performing charity.
