Las Vegas, NV – A fatal crash involving a box truck and a passenger car has closed the I-15 northbound ramp to US 95 southbound and caused significant traffic disruptions. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The driver of the passenger car was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.

Due to the severity of the crash, debris is scattered across multiple ramps, leading to a lengthy closure that is expected to last more than eight hours.

Nevada State Police are investigating the cause of the crash, including the possibility of impairment or excessive speed.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
