LAS VEGAS – In downtown Las Vegas on Thursday night, hundreds of supporters from both Israel and Palestine gathered for separate rallies, voicing their perspectives on the ongoing conflict in the region.
The groups congregated across the street from each other, creating a symbolic representation of the differing opinions surrounding the war in Israel. Those standing in solidarity with Israel expressed their concerns about the acts of terrorism perpetrated by Hamas over the past few days.
Eli Efraimov, an attendee of the pro-Israel rally, emphasized the brutality of the enemy they face, stating, “We are facing an enemy who is brutal and has no regard for human life.”
On the other side of the street, a woman named Eztli Amaya shared her support for Palestine while denouncing the killing of innocent people. She emphasized that there should be no alignment with terrorism and that the focus should be on supporting the innocent civilians, particularly the Palestinian population.
Throughout the night, both sides chanted and waved their respective flags, demonstrating their solidarity and commitment to their respective causes. The rallies served as platforms for individuals to express their feelings and raise awareness about the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
