LAS VEGAS – EA SPORTS has announced that their highly anticipated F1 23 driving simulation game will be released on Friday, June 16. The new game will include a host of exciting features, but the biggest news for fans is that it will also feature the new Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit, giving players the chance to virtually race on the circuit ahead of the inaugural FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2023 in November.
To celebrate the announcement, EA SPORTS has also released a trailer for the game, which includes a brief glimpse of the Las Vegas circuit. The video shows the Las Vegas Strip from a flying vantage point heading north from around Harmon Ave, which is the location of turn 14. The balloon at Paris Las Vegas is visible with just the word “Vegas” glowing, while the main Bellagio sign at the entrance can also be seen. However, in the game, designers have written “Hotel Nevada” on the sign, a nod to the first hotel in Las Vegas which opened in 1906.
One significant change to the Las Vegas Strip is the absence of Caesars Palace, which has been replaced by the “Plaza Hotel” in the game. In reality, the Plaza Hotel and Casino is actually located across the street from the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino, which was the first hotel in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix race is set to take place on November 18, starting at around 10 p.m. local time. However, F1 fans won’t have to wait that long to get a taste of the action, as the F1 23 game will give them a chance to experience the circuit virtually before the real race takes place.
With its cutting-edge graphics and exciting new features, F1 23 promises to be a game-changer for racing game enthusiasts. And with the addition of the Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit, it’s sure to be a hit with F1 fans both old and new.
