According to police, four people were hurt in five separate violent events recorded around Las Vegas in a four-hour period between Sunday night and Monday am.
Around 8:53 p.m., the first shooting was reported. Lt. David Gordon of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated in a statement that the incident occurred in the 7500 block of Mulgrave Court, near Buffalo Drive and Patrick Lane in the southwest valley.
Gordon stated that a man was having a party at his home with numerous neighbors when an inebriated acquaintance arrived. During the night, the acquaintance became irritated because he suspected someone had stolen his money and ordered four houseguests to empty their wallets at gunpoint.
The guy fired one round into the air and another through a window before fleeing with the homeowner’s shotgun and rifle as well as the cell phones of the houseguests. According to Gordon, the suspect is still at large.
The second shooting occurred at 9:14 p.m. at a building on the 3300 block of N. Tenaya Way is close to Cheyenne Avenue. Officers discovered more than ten round casings and at least one impact, leading police to suspect two males were shooting at each other.
Gordon stated that no victims had been found.
A stabbing was reported at 10:47 p.m. as the next incident. In the 1900 block of Linn Avenue, near Lake Mead Boulevard and Chrissy Lane, a man in his 30s got into an argument with a homeowner about renting a room.
The argument escalated into a brawl, during which the suspect stabbed the homeowner once in the abdomen. The culprit fled the area in a dark-colored vehicle and is still on the loose. There was no information available on the victim’s condition.
According to Gordon, the third shooting occurred at approximately 11:21 p.m. Palo Brea Drive and Villa Marbella Street are nearby, as are Pavilion Center and Alta roads. A teenage girl was driving with her boyfriend and two other people when two men opened fire on their vehicle.
Just after 12:30 a.m., a fourth shooting was reported. Blue Marlin Avenue, 4900 block, near Craig Road and Nellis Boulevard A man was standing outside a house when another man, described as the suspect, approached him. After a dispute, the suspect pulled out a revolver and fired two bullets.
The person was hit at least once and was brought to the hospital for surgery. Officers apprehended the guy at Gowan and Pecos roads, according to Gordon.
