LAS VEGAS – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an advisory to passengers traveling through Las Vegas on Tuesday, warning of potential delays caused by adverse weather conditions. According to the FAA, wind, and rain are expected to hit the Las Vegas valley, triggering flight disruptions at the Harry Reid International Airport.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the FAA announced that some arriving flights are experiencing an average delay of almost two hours, and flight tracking website FlightAware reported delays ranging from 30 to 47 minutes for both arrivals and departures.
Passengers planning to fly to or from Las Vegas are advised to check with their airline to determine whether their flight will be affected by the delays caused by the weather. The FAA has also cautioned travelers to anticipate potential schedule changes and to remain patient throughout their travel experience.
With the FAA keeping a close watch on the situation, the Las Vegas airport and airlines are working to minimize the inconvenience caused to passengers due to the weather conditions.
