Las Vegas Woman Accused of Attempting to Hire Hitman to Kill Father
A shocking case has emerged in Las Vegas as Monique Williams, a 36-year-old woman, faces accusations of attempting to hire someone to murder her own father back in 2022. Authorities have charged Williams with solicitation to commit murder and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Despite the serious nature of the allegations, Williams is currently out on a $10,000 bond.
The investigation into Williams’ alleged plot revealed disturbing details:
– On October 7, 2022, authorities were alerted to a potential murder-for-hire scheme involving Williams, who went by the alias “Binky.” It is alleged that she attempted to solicit an individual to carry out the heinous act.
– An anonymous source informed law enforcement that Williams had spoken about the need to have someone “taken care of,” indicating her intention to have them intentionally killed.
– Williams communicated with the potential hitman through Facebook, sending a message mentioning another job that was “easy.” She appeared to offer firearms for the task and provided a picture of a house with an address, specifying that the target was her own father.
– A payment of $10,000 was reportedly offered for the job, along with a promise of a positive reference for future “hit jobs.”
Williams’ criminal history was brought to light, revealing an extensive record including charges related to attempted murder with a deadly weapon, battery, domestic violence, carrying a concealed weapon, coercion with force, conspiracy, DUI, and multiple drug-related offenses.
A search warrant was executed at Williams’ residence on October 13, resulting in the seizure of evidence related to her solicitation for murder. Among the items seized were six cell phones and two firearms, which she was prohibited from possessing.
During questioning by law enforcement, Williams denied any involvement in a plot to kill her father, claiming she had not spoken to him in years.
Williams’ next court hearing is scheduled for September 13.
Former Wrestling Coach Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault of Student

The North Las Vegas Police Department launched an investigation into the case after receiving a report of a possible sexual assault. The alleged victim, an adult female, was a student at Mojave High School at the time of the incidents.
The investigation led to the identification and arrest of the suspect, 25-year-old Rene Ruiz, on August 1. Ruiz was booked into the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center on charges including sexual assault, lewdness, and engaging in sexual acts with a pupil aged 16 or older.
Ruiz had been employed as a temporary wrestling coach at Mojave High School during the 2022-2023 school year. Notably, it is believed that the alleged incident did not occur on school district property.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Ruiz or potential victims to come forward and contact the North Las Vegas Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
