According to information gathered on Tuesday, a lady who had previously told police she was too “good-looking” to be detained calmly confessed to murdering her mother to the dispatcher before hanging up.
Hend Bustami, 28, allegedly killed her mother Afaf Hussanen, 61, on Wednesday, October 26 in a south valley community in the 10000 block of June Flower Drive close to Jones Boulevard and Cactus Avenue, according to Las Vegas Metro Police. Hussanen and Bustami shared a residence, according to the police.
Dispatchers got a call from a person who they suspect to be Bustami at approximately 2:30 a.m. last week, stating, “I think I killed my mama,” according to the first reports from the police Wednesday last week.
“Why do you believe you murdered your mother? “, the 911 call’s operator questioned Bustami.
“Because I did. “I killed her,” said Bustami.
Later, according to authorities, Bustami was found driving close to Barstow by California Highway Patrol officers. Bustami, who according to police was covered in blood, reportedly confessed to killing her mother when speaking with officers.
Bustami said during her interview with investigators that she and her mother had argued before she attacked her with glass shards.
