Las Vegas, NV – Las Vegas law enforcement is seeking the public’s cooperation in an ongoing investigation following a tragic shooting incident in East Las Vegas over the weekend. The incident claimed the life of a man in the early hours of Saturday.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the fatal shooting occurred at approximately 3:19 a.m. in a residential neighborhood situated near the intersection of East Washington Avenue and North Sandhill Road.

Reports from investigators indicate that the victim, whose identity remains undisclosed as of Monday morning, was walking with a companion when a vehicle pulled up. An unidentified gunman unleashed a hail of bullets upon the unsuspecting victims.

Emergency medical personnel swiftly responded to the scene, and the wounded individual was immediately transported to the nearby University Medical Center. Tragically, despite their efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries, marking a devastating loss for the local community.
