LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The Summerlin area has seen a number of burglaries that have targeted homes close to golf courses, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has warned locals.
The burglaries have happened 11 times since October 2022, according to a news statement.
Police said that in each incident, the suspects entered the targeted homes via a desert, a golf course, or a walking trail.
According to LVMPD, detectives are canvasing the affected areas to locate any videos, photos or information which can lead to the identification of the possible suspects.
“Additional patrols have been established within the Summerlin Area Command and Major Case Protocol has been enacted,” the department said in the release.
