Man Who Shot Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker Goes To Prison For 21 Years
LAS VEGAS – Officials said on Monday that the man who shot and injured Lady Gaga’s dog walker and stole her French bulldogs last year accepted a plea deal and was sentenced to 21 years in prison. According to investigators, the Lady Gaga connection was purely coincidental.
The thieves’ motivation was the value of the French bulldogs, a breed that can fetch thousands of dollars, and detectives believe the thieves had no idea the dogs belonged to the musician.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, James Howard Jackson, one of three men and two accomplices who took part in the violent robbery and its aftermath, pleaded no contest to one count of attempted murder.
On Monday, it was unclear which counsel represented Howard.
