According to court documents, Priscilla Cueva, 34, is now free on bond while she waits for her next hearing on charges of grand larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department claims that although the crime is believed to have occurred on September 18 at roughly 4:30 a.m., officials were first informed of it on September 22.
According to a Las Vegas police report on an arrest,
According to authorities, the situation is compatible with a theft connected to prostitution. The accused victim said that he and his companion brought two ladies to their hotel room, one of whom was eventually identified as Cueva and the other remains unidentified.
The buddy eventually departed, and the claimed victim talked about having sex with both Cueva and the other unnamed lady. According to the report, the male “was certain that no money was transferred” for sex activities.
The accused victim removed his watch, placed it in a zipped compartment of his suitcase, and then had a shower while Cueva and the other suspect were drinking in the hotel room.
The victim said that when he entered the room again, Cueva and the second suspect had left to fetch ice but had never returned.
Eventually, the man fell asleep, and when he awoke, he discovered that his Audemars Piguet watch, which the newspaper stated was worth $230,000, was gone.
Based on prior trespassing incidents, investigators and security at the hotel-casino were able to identify Cueva.
Dec. 22 saw the arrest of Cueva. The date of her next hearing is set on April 24.
