A Spring Valley High School student was detained after a pistol was discovered on campus.
According to a letter to parents from the school’s principal, Gary Bugash, the incident occurred on Friday at Brian and Teri Cram Middle School.
According to the letter, the school received a complaint of a weapon on campus, following which school employees and CCSD police investigated and discovered a gun.
According to Bugash, there were no injuries or threats made against the institution.
