LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has announced that it would once again provide free bus rides in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve.
The free rides will begin at 6 p.m., according to a news release. between New Year’s Eve and 9 a.m. on January 1st.
Riders on RTC’s 39 bus lines can board any vehicle without purchasing a pass or showing a fee in order to “help guarantee safe highways,” according to RTC.
According to RTC, the free bus ride services include transportation service across the valley, as well as direct access to and from the Las Vegas Strip. According to the organization, the South Strip Transit Terminal (6675 S. Gilespie St.) provides transit service to both the Las Vegas Strip and downtown Las Vegas through the Deuce and Route 109. Furthermore, the agency advises those traveling over the holiday weekend that free parking is available at the Centennial Hills Transit Center or the South Strip Transit Terminal, with direct access to Harry Reid International Airport’s Ground Level Zero at Terminal 1 via the Centennial Express or Route 109.
