LAS VEGAS- News reporters continue to investigate the high rent problem in Southern Nevada, and one population that is sometimes ignored is seniors.
Margaret Mickleberry stated that she was formerly homeless but was able to get back on her feet and move into an apartment.
She claimed that everything was well until her lease renewal came with a price increase.
Mickleberry is on a fixed income and is having difficulty finding aid.
Her apartment lease is set to end in November, and her $900 rent has risen dramatically.
Mickleberry stated that moving to a new location is not in her budget.
