Three Women Skipped Out on a Las Vegas Nail Salon, so They’re Notifying Others

LAS VEGAS – On Wednesday, Lashes & Polished, a nail salon near Sahara and Rainbow, shared surveillance photographs and video of three women who entered the salon that afternoon.
Ebony Martin did one of the women’s nails. After two hours, the third woman claimed she’d pay.
Martin: “It’s like they planned it or practiced it because one departed then the other.”
Martin soon watched the third woman leave in a car.
“She said, ‘Ok, I’m going outside real fast to grab something out of the car,’ and I wasn’t thinking about it because I was doing my work. When I looked up, she was out the door and going into the car, and the car was driving away like she couldn’t close the door,” Martin recalled.
Martin felt stuck and didn’t know what to do; this had never happened in her three-year profession.
“This is it. This is our only source of money, you know. Martin said, “If you don’t pay for your services, we don’t.”
Martin said his staff would discuss a check-in mechanism with clients to prevent future problems.
