Veterans Day Weekend Is a Busy Time for Wedding Chapels in Southern Nevada
LAS VEGAS – The wedding chapels in Southern Nevada have been extremely busy recently.
According to Rachel Sneed of the Lucky Little Chapel, two noteworthy and popular wedding dates fall this month.
Adding the day of the month to the month on Veterans Day yields the year.
The next day, you’ll see three consecutive ones, then three consecutive twos.
As Sneed put it, “it’s all about the repetition, and people believe it’s lucky.”
With 48 weddings booked on the first day, the Lucky Little Chapel has been increasing their hours and employees. Those aren’t counted among the walk-ins, though.
Sneed and her team take great satisfaction in the fact that they are still able to treat each bride and husband like royalty despite the increased workload.
Since Rachel has noticed a slight decrease in guest numbers, this is relevant information to bring up when discussing inflation fears. With the cost of fuel and airfare reaching record highs, this is to be expected.
Sneed has noticed a trend toward smaller venues, saying that this allows newlyweds to save more money for other major purchases like a home or honeymoon.
For the upcoming significant day of 12/12.
