LAS VEGAS — On the first day of early voting for the presidential preference primary election in Nevada, Vice President Kamala Harris rallied attendees at the IBEW Local 357 union hall on North Lamb Boulevard, urging them to cast their ballots for President Joe Biden.
Addressing the crowd, Harris emphasized the power of the people in making their voices heard. “Just like in 2020, the people have the power to make our voices heard, and today is the first day for early voting,” she stated. “Across the state, you can cast your ballot for President Joe Biden and me.”
During her speech, Harris highlighted the achievements of the Biden-Harris administration, including student loan forgiveness, capping the cost of insulin, and fostering small-business growth.
Taking a swipe at former President Donald Trump, who held an event earlier in the day, Harris stated, “Today, as always, he made clear his fight is not for the people. His fight is for himself.”
Harris was joined at the event by members of Nevada’s federal delegation, including Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto and Rep. Dina Titus, who expressed their support for the vice president and President Biden.
Attendees, such as Ralph Lewis, expressed their interest in hearing Harris’ message. Lewis, a self-proclaimed Democrat, said, “I want to hear what Vice President Kamala Harris has to say today because I think we have a big battle ahead with the upcoming election.”
Lisa Yates, who had already completed her ballot, confidently stated, “I just know Biden is the one that we needed then and especially now. I want this country to succeed.”
Mark Parks, a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers union, praised Biden and Harris for prioritizing the interests of the American people. “I think they have people’s best interests in mind,” Parks said. “They’re very humble. It seems like they love American people more than the opponent.”
As early voting begins in Nevada, the message from Vice President Kamala Harris resonates strongly, encouraging voters to exercise their democratic rights and support President Joe Biden in the upcoming primary election.

As an awakened Negro who was taught that the Democratic Party was the lord and saviour of black Americans. I beg to differ respectfully with Vice president Kamala Harris.
You have sold us a bill of goods for decades and decades. You democrats plaster yourselves over everything that is black and brown.
You are the party of “You ain’t black if you don’t vote for me.”
A bunch of slave holders who will talk about what your minority group “needs”, while you in your minority existence sits at the same table and they act as if you are invisible.
When Donald Trump wins, maybe time to realize that MAGA is everyone. And not the narrative that you’ve been spewing.
America is a unique stew of many ingredients and those that contribute to our greatness as set forth by our founding fathers are to be celebrated.
Teach full history before tearing monuments down.
Vice president Harris, I hope you debate Vivek Ramaswamy.
