One man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Storey County on Monday, according to police.
On September 24, troopers from the Nevada State Police responded to reports of a tragic collision along SR431.
Tracy Somers was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson north towards Reno when he failed to navigate a bend and collided with the railing, according to their preliminary investigation.
Somers was fully thrown from his motorcycle when it overturned. The Harley-Davidson came to rest on the left side of the southbound lane on SR431 looking east.
Somers died as a result of his injuries and was declared dead at the scene. The next of kin has been contacted. The incident appears to have been caused by excessive speed and impairment.
