RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Tuesday’s fatal collision on US-93 north of Ely claimed one life.
Nevada State Troopers responded to reports of an accident in White Pine County at roughly 4:45 p.m.
According to their first investigation, the driver of a Ford F-350 was headed south on US-93 when he lost control because he was going too fast for the conditions of the road.
The vehicle crossed the center line, moved into the northbound lane, veered off the road to the left, and eventually flipped.
Dolores Olivas, 51, a driver from Phoenix, was partially thrown from the car and died as a result of her wounds.
