NEVADA – Carson City deputies arrested a 37-year-old woman on Wednesday for suspected gross misdemeanor indecent exposure and violation of bail conditions, according to a booking report from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest occurred after the CCSO received numerous phone calls from residents reporting a naked woman walking down the road in the area of North Carson Meadows and E. Robinson Street. Upon arrival, the responding deputy found the woman walking on the north side of the street, completely naked. The deputy approached the woman and asked her to stop, but she continued walking.
The deputy then parked his patrol vehicle in front of a residence and instructed the woman to get into the rear seat of the vehicle. After obtaining her information and conducting a warrant check, the officer learned that she was currently on supervision with the Department of Alternative Sentencing.
The woman was provided with clothing and officers from DAS arrived to place a “no bail” hold on her for violation of bail conditions. She was charged with indecent exposure, with bail set at $2,500.
This incident serves as a reminder to the public to report suspicious behavior promptly to local authorities.
