RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – The University of Nevada, Reno has launched a new breast cancer research study.

This survey for the School of Public Health is being funded by the Nevada Cancer Coalition, and the results might assist boost screening rates.

The poll will examine more closely at breast cancer screening and follow-up treatment knowledge, cultural views, and impediments.

According to the Nevada Cancer Coalition, just 70% of eligible women were tested in the previous two years.

This survey will aid in determining the cause.

The responses will assist them navigate rules and initiatives in order to remove any barriers and make screenings more accessible.

Veronika Scavacini of the School of Public Health described the process of getting this research study together.
