Reno: The Happiest Place to Live in America

Reno, Nevada, has been named the happiest place to live in America by Outside magazine. Once known for gambling and easy divorces, Reno has been revived in recent years and is now a vibrant city with a thriving outdoor scene, a diverse economy, and a relatively affordable cost of living.

Here are just a few of the things that make Reno such a great place to live:

  • Outdoor recreation: Reno is surrounded by public land and mountains, offering endless opportunities for hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, and more. The city also has a whitewater park, multiple climbing gyms, and a monthlong summer arts festival.

  • Clearly, a Reno marketing firm paid off woke Outdoor magazine to push this rubbish. Consider for a moment what Reno looks like right now. Google 'downtown reno webcam' and take a look through the webcams. What you'll see is a remake of Chernobyl. No people, no traffic, no anything 7 days a week. Outdoor magazine is as about as liberal as a magazine can get. The way they make it sound, a city can only be 'happiest' if it has a pride celebration. Really? Let's be honest. It draws less then 10,000 people and with a population of about 270,000, that works out to around 3%. So according to Outdoor, this qualifies Reno as the #1 happiest city? Please stop insulting our intelligence.
