The incident took place around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning at the Smith’s location in Gardnerville. Prompt response from deputies ensured a swift and successful operation.
Upon arrival at the scene, DCSO deputies engaged with the victim and witnesses, who provided valuable descriptions of the suspects and the direction in which they fled. Acting promptly on the information received, DCSO deputies located the suspects walking on El Dorado Ave. near Apollo Ave. in Gardnerville.
The suspects were taken into custody without incident, and no injuries were reported during the arrest. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that there are no outstanding suspects in connection with the carjacking case.
