NEVADA – Officials at the Heavenly Mountain Resort have confirmed that a “serious incident” occurred on Wednesday, resulting in the death of a 46-year-old man.
The incident took place on an expert trail near Roundabout, and the Heavenly Ski Patrol immediately responded.
Despite receiving emergency care, the man was pronounced dead at the California Lodge Base Area. He was later transferred to the El Dorado County Coroner.
VP and COO of Heavenly and the Tahoe Region said:
“Heavenly Mountain Resort, Heavenly Ski Patrol, and the entire Vail Resorts family extend our deepest sympathy and support to our guest’s family and friends.”
