NEVADA – The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a suspect late Thursday afternoon after boxing in a stolen vehicle.
It happened near the intersection of West Second Avenue and Chocolate Drive. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office advises residents to stay away from the area.
According to the sheriff’s office, the vehicle came to a halt when a deputy approached it. The truck then reversed and was blocked in by two cops.
The suspect then fled and was apprehended after a brief chase.
Two deputies were brought to the hospital for medical evaluation. They didn’t appear to be injured, but their conditions weren’t immediately known.
