Carson City, NV—Thursday, March 27th, 1:00 PM. That’s when the Nevada Legislature’s gun-hating suits will huddle in Room 4100 at 401 S. Carson St., or the Vegas outpost at 7120 Amigo St., to shove three Second Amendment-shredding bills down your throat. AB 105, AB 245, and SB 89 aren’t tweaks—they’re a full-on assault on your God-given rights. This isn’t about “common sense”; it’s about power. For every rancher in Elko, every Vegas hustler, every liberty-loving Nevadan who’d rather burn a mask than kiss a bureaucrat’s boot—this is your wake-up call.
Start with AB 105. Democrats want you defenseless at polling stations—100 feet of “gun-free” nonsense that turns law-abiding carriers into felons. Gross misdemeanor on the low end, felony if they say you “disrupted” their precious vote-counting circus. Criminals don’t obey signs, but you’re supposed to roll over and play sheep? That’s a hard pass. Election Day’s no time to strip Nevadans of their iron.
Then there’s AB 245, spitting in the face of every 18-to-20-year-old with a spine. No semi-auto shotguns or center-fire rifles for you—owning or even touching one could land you in cuffs. Governor Lombardo axed this trash in 2023, but the left’s back, banking on your apathy. If you’re old enough to die for Uncle Sam, you’re old enough to pack heat. Tell that to the kid hunting sagebrush or guarding his family on the Strip.
SB 89’s the real snake in the sage. Labeled a “hate crime” fix, it’s a 10-year gun ban for misdemeanor convictions—some non-violent, all vague. Who decides what’s “hateful”? The same clowns who’d call your NRA hat a threat. Today it’s this, tomorrow it’s your “wrong” opinion. This ain’t a bill; it’s a blueprint for disarmament.
The Nevada Republican Party’s Legislative Affairs team is screaming from the rooftops: fight or fold. Thursday’s your shot—storm Carson City or Vegas in person, or send an email to SENJUD@SEN.STATE.NV.US by Wednesday, March 26th, 1:00 PM. Hit the Legislature’s site, smash “OPPOSE” on AB 105, AB 245, and SB 89 under “Opinions.”
Nevada’s toughs don’t kneel to overreach—they STAND. These bills stomp on “shall not be infringed” like it’s a campaign promise. Show up, speak up, or watch your rights bleed out in the desert dust. The clock’s ticking.
