OPINION: Dina Titus, A Champion of Open Borders, Fentanyl, and Human Trafficking

Titus continues to prioritize Biden’s failed policies over the safety and well-being of Nevadans

The fentanyl crisis and human trafficking are two devastating issues that require strong leadership and decisive action. However, Titus’s unwavering support for open borders makes these problems much worse, leaving our community vulnerable to devastating consequences. Titus continues to prioritize Biden’s failed policies over the safety and well-being of Nevadans.

Fentanyl Crisis

The fentanyl crisis has reached epidemic proportions, claiming thousands of lives yearly. With synthetic opioids flooding our streets, it is evident that the uncontrolled flow of people across our borders has provided a gateway for drug traffickers. Titus’s negligent and irresponsible refusal to acknowledge the link between porous borders and the ease of fentanyl smuggling is a dereliction of duty. It is time for her to retire.

Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is an appalling crime that preys on the vulnerable and marginalized. However, instead of addressing this grave issue head-on, Titus’s support for open borders has facilitated human traffickers’ operations. Nevada’s First Congressional District, which she is supposed to represent, is the number one location in the world for human trafficking.  Titus has brought shame and embarrassment to the people of her district. She has got to go.

Ignoring the consequences of open borders

What is most concerning about Dina Titus’s stance on open borders is her refusal to acknowledge the consequences of her policies. Instead of taking responsibility for the negative impact of uncontrolled immigration, she clings to idealistic visions of inclusivity and equity without considering the real-world implications. It is time to replace Titus.

Dina Titus’s unwavering support for open borders has proven to be a grave disservice to the people of Nevada.  Her refusal to acknowledge the link between porous borders and these issues demonstrates a failure of leadership and an alarming lack of concern for the safety and well-being of her constituents. We need new representation.

As your representative in Congress, I will make national security one of my top priorities. I will demand more robust border security and will provide law enforcement with the resources they need to keep us safe. I will put the welfare of Americans ahead of all other considerations. It is time for a change.
