$21,000 Reward Offered for Information Leading to Arrest in Bulldog’s Heat-Related Death

LAS VEGAS, NV – A reward of $21,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the tragic death of a bulldog named Reba, who suffered a heat-related death in Las Vegas.

Reba was discovered on July 25th, trapped inside a small, taped-shut plastic container near Flamingo and Maryland Parkway. Passersby heard her whimpering and rushed her to Veterinary Emergency Group in Henderson, where she was diagnosed with heatstroke, severe dehydration, and was in critical condition. Despite the efforts of veterinarians and animal advocates, Reba passed away on Saturday due to cardiac arrest caused by a blood-clotting condition resulting from the extreme heat and shock.

The incident has sparked outrage among animal lovers and rescue organizations in the Las Vegas community. Vegas Pet Rescue Project, a local animal advocacy group, has been spearheading the effort to find those responsible. The reward, which started at $13,500, has rapidly increased to $21,000 thanks to the generosity of local residents and animal rescue angels.

“We are urging anyone with any information, no matter how small, to come forward,” said Megan Tomlinson, Volunteer Rescue Coordinator for Vegas Pet Rescue Project. “Even the smallest detail could be crucial in finding the person who did this to Reba.”

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the case as a potential act of animal cruelty. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police department or Vegas Pet Rescue Project.

Donations to the reward fund can be made through Vegas Pet Rescue Project’s website.
