Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have apprehended 36-year-old Paul Hyon Kim for allegedly orchestrating a deliberate assault on a Tesla Collision Center. The incident, which occurred on March 18 at approximately 2:45 a.m., involved multiple vehicles being set ablaze and shot at, resulting in significant property damage.

Surveillance footage reportedly captures Kim using incendiary devices, commonly known as Molotov cocktails, to ignite the vehicles. Additionally, the suspect is believed to have discharged a firearm into the cars, further amplifying the destruction.

This act of violence is part of a troubling pattern of attacks targeting Tesla facilities nationwide following CEO Elon Musk’s involvement with the current administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). These assaults have prompted federal authorities to classify such incidents as domestic terrorism, underscoring the severity of these actions against private businesses.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi has emphasized the gravity of these offenses, stating that individuals engaging in such violent acts will face stringent legal consequences. She remarked, “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”

Elon Musk has also addressed the situation, urging protesters to “stop being psycho” and highlighting the peaceful nature of Tesla as a company.

As the legal process unfolds, this incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of upholding the rule of law and respecting private property rights. Engaging in violent acts not only undermines the principles of peaceful protest but also poses significant threats to community safety and economic stability. Individuals must channel their grievances through lawful and constructive avenues, reinforcing the values that underpin our society.
