LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The first Korean pop-up shop closed its doors on the last day at Container Park.
Exclusive products, live music, and performances by local dance gangs were available to attendees.
Following the success of the BTS takeover in April, the local K-pop scene has grown.
“I think the K-pop community is really strong in Vegas because I heard when BTS came here, the city was lit up purple, which is the BTS theme color, and the concert was sold out. So I believe there is a really big K-pop community in Las Vegas,” Eric Han, CEO of K-pop Republic, said.
Meeting other fans was another benefit of this past weekend’s event.
Fans may exchange photocards and compete in dancing contests.
