LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Is there a junction where you feel dangerous or where there is a lot of traffic in the Las Vegas valley? Here’s how you ask for a more thorough investigation of the crossing and perhaps the installation of a traffic signal.
The City of Las Vegas claims that the choice to put up a traffic signal is based on a traffic engineering study and must adhere to federal regulations.
The city’s transportation staff must assess traffic volumes, speeds, and crash data before installing a speed bump or other traffic calming measures. The city will offer suggestions for the next move following the investigation.

At the junction of Las Vegas Boulevard and Agate Avenue close to the South Point Casino, a new traffic light was turned on on Wednesday.
According to Clark County, there have been over 20 collisions at that crossroads only in the previous two years, and it has a long history of being dangerous.
