High-Speed Pursuit Involving Stolen Vehicle Concludes on Interstate 11

A police pursuit involving a stolen vehicle ended early Tuesday on Interstate 11 near Decatur Boulevard, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

LVMPD stated that officers initially observed the stolen vehicle near Fremont Street and Oakey Boulevard. When police attempted to monitor the vehicle, it reportedly accelerated at a high rate of speed, prompting officers to initiate a pursuit.

The chase continued through city streets and onto I-11, where it eventually came to an end near the Decatur Boulevard area. Police have not released additional details regarding how the pursuit concluded, whether any injuries occurred, or if arrests were made.
