Lake Mead National Recreation Area Warns of Flash Flooding in Las Vegas Wash Over the Next Two Days
The public is being warned that the Las Vegas Wash will experience controlled flash floods over the next two days as part of Lake Mead National Recreation Area’s planned maintenance.
The Las Vegas Wash will experience a variety of low and high flow (flash flood) events on Tuesday, October 25, and Wednesday, October 26, as part of routine park maintenance.
Las Vegas Wash is closed for the next two days as park officials warn of a high risk of drowning due to floods. It seems that this will have an impact on the stretch of the wash that is located below Lake Las Vegas.
