A 29‑year‑old man has been arrested in connection with a mid‑July armored truck robbery in west Las Vegas that authorities say yielded approximately $300,000 in stolen cash.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Devonte Jackson was identified as a suspect in the incident that took place shortly after noon on July 16 in the 9800 block of West Charleston Boulevard, near Hualapai Way. Jackson allegedly collaborated with at least one other person in the violent heist, law enforcement sources confirmed.

On July 29, Jackson was apprehended in Centerville, Texas, by Texas state troopers with assistance from FBI agents. He was booked into the McLennan County Jail in Waco and is facing two federal charges in Nevada: robbery with the use of a deadly weapon and coercion with force using a deadly weapon.  Authorities say he is awaiting extradition back to Las Vegas.

Police have not yet clarified whether any other individuals remain under investigation, though early reports indicated that two armed suspects were involved.
