Las Vegas Police Request Assistance Identifying Thief From Condo and Apartment Complex Garages
Police in Las Vegas wants the public’s help to catch a thief before they do it again. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department just put out surveillance footage of the person they think is breaking into condo and apartment complex garages in the valley. The person has gotten into at least six or seven garages, according to the police. They say that the video was taken at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Starr Avenue.
Police warn people not to make it easy for someone to commit a crime by leaving their garage door open. Officials also say that you shouldn’t keep valuable things like money or guns in a garage. And they say that if people can, they should lock their garage doors. For garage doors, you can buy locks.
Las Vegas police are trying to find out who is stealing from condos and apartment garages.
The video shows a gray Toyota Four Runner, which is what the police say the thief is driving. Police ask people to call 311 if they see the car or 911 if they see a crime happening.
Anyone who knows who the suspect is is asked to call Detective Karas at 702-828-2811.
