Police say a man made terrorist threats after attempting to board numerous planes using stolen IDs at Harry Reid Airport on Sunday.
Officers rushed to Terminal 3 after TSA workers reported a suspicious call with United Ticketing, according to an arrest record.
Employees at United said an unknown girl, later confirmed to be a guy named Idan Eliyahu, was attempting to board an aircraft to San Francisco using three different passports and refused to remove his mask and other head coverings when asked to verify his identification, claiming to be Muslim.
According to the complaint, Eliyahu then attempted to purchase a Hawaiian Airlines ticket but was denied due to worries about his identification.
Eliyahu was stopped by police after exiting a woman’s bathroom, where he refused to identify himself again and became violent with cops.
While being arrested for resisting arrest, Eliyahu began making terrorist threats and declared, “I am a terrorist, and I am going to blow this place up.”
Following his arrest, police recovered various stolen items, including a US passport, an Australian passport, an Australian driver’s license, a Nevada driver’s license, a VISA business debit card, and an American Express credit card.
He was arrested and held at the Clark County Detention Center (CCDC) on burglary, theft, and terrorist charges.
Prior to being transferred to CCDC, Eliyahu was positively recognized by his wife, who resides in Boulder City.
