LAS VEGAS – Monday morning found a man deceased in a drainage canal in the southern Las Vegas valley, according to authorities. At around 2:40 a.m., LVMPD Dispatch got a report of an unresponsive individual at a drainage canal near Arville Street and Harmon Avenue, according to an incident report.
Arriving cops discovered a person suffering from “an apparent gunshot wound” and pronounced him dead at the site.
Initial police inquiry revealed that the victim resided within the drainage channel where the incident occurred. The victim exited the canal and slumped after being shot.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will disclose the identity of the deceased, as well as the reason and manner of death.
