LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Authorities say a man in Las Vegas is facing charges for allegedly forcing a woman to have sex with him while she was working as a prostitute because he “refused to pay” for her services.
Lavonte Stuckey, 19, is charged with sexual assault with a lethal weapon, attempted robbery, kidnapping, and adult sex trafficking.
Officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to The Orleans Hotel at 11 a.m. on Dec. 15. as a result of a reported sexual assault.
A lady told police she had been working as a prostitute when a guy, subsequently identified as Stuckey, approached her and requested for a “date.”
According to an arrest report, she got in his car and they went to the second level of the Orleans parking garage, where they formed an agreement that he would pay her $100 for sex.
According to the investigation, Stuckey informed the accused victim that he “didn’t pay for [sex]” and finally raped her while they were both in the backseat.
According to the police complaint, Stuckey reportedly stated that he would be her pimp from now on and threatened to shoot her if she did not have sex with him.
Stuckey then blocked her exit by locking the car doors and demanding she transfer him money via Cash App. According to authorities, he then attempted to steal $6 from her pocketbook.
The lady eventually persuaded Stuckey that she needed to drop off a phone to a friend at a gas station, but she hurried inside the bathroom and locked it.
Stuckey finally fled the scene, only to be arrested and questioned by authorities.
According to the arrest report, Stuckey acknowledged to picking up the lady at The Orleans, where she reportedly urged him they should have “some fun.” Stuckey told officers the woman gave him oral sex and then requested for money, which he said he “didn’t pay for sex” and drove away.
According to the article, a background check on Stuckey discovered that he was previously charged with a similar offense in which he allegedly sexually attacked another female in the Strat’s parking garage. According to police, Stuckey claimed to have a pistol and demanded that the victim have oral sex without a condom in this encounter.
The specifics of the prior incident at The Strat “show a pattern of behavior remarkably comparable and demonstrate a penchant for violent sexual assaults with a handgun,” police noted in the report.
His next court appearance is scheduled for January 3. He is being put in jail on a $100,000 bail.
