LAS VEGAS – Tuesday’s shooting in the west Las Vegas Valley was perhaps related to an ongoing neighborhood dispute, according to police.
At 5:30 p.m., someone broke into a house in the 3900 block of Pamplona Street, close to Rainbow Boulevard and Flamingo Road.
A call reporting a shooting in the area prompted police to rush to the site. When police arrived, they found out that a long-running conflict in the area had led to the shooting.
Following what police assume to be a fight between the two parties involved, one of the parties opened fire, striking an adult male who appears to have a non-fatal wound.
The victim was transferred to a local medical facility for treatment.
An incident-free arrest was made, according to the police.
