
Pedestrian Killed and Another Injured In North Las Vegas Hit and Run

LAS VEGAS – A person was killed, and another was injured after being hit by a car on Sunday afternoon in North Las Vegas.
According to North Las Vegas Police, the incident happened around 2:38 p.m. on Jan. 1 at Aliante near Nature Park. According to police, a tiny SUV collided with another car and two pedestrians on the sidewalk.
Both pedestrians were treated at University Medical Center. At UMC, a woman in her fifties was pronounced deceased. Once her next of kin is notified, the Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify her.
A man in his 60s was identified as the other pedestrian. According to authorities, the driver was also brought to the hospital, although their condition is unknown.
As of Sunday evening, NLVPD stated that driving factors such as speed and impairment were unknown.
