Police Take Suspect into Custody After Shooting at Home Near Buffalo Drive

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to a possible domestic violence-related shooting around 5:30 p.m. Sunday at a residence near Buffalo Drive and Ford Avenue. Officers discovered one individual deceased inside the home and another suffering from gunshot wounds. The injured victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, according to Metro officials.

Police located a suspect nearby and took the individual into custody without further incident, as the investigation continues under the guidance of Metro homicide detectives.
