LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – A tractor-trailer that was headed for the 215 transition ramp on the 15 northbound flipped overnight, according to Nevada State Police.
It was pouring at approximately 11:30 p.m. and the tractor-trailer “was moving too fast for conditions and toppled,” according to the officials. Monday was the day of the accident.
While rescue workers tried to remove the wreckage, the northbound I-15 to the eastbound 215 were stopped as they approached the airport. The 215 from north to west continued to be open. However, using that ramp might result in significant delays for drivers.
Police said that the truck was transporting vegetables and claimed that after it was unloaded and turned upright, the road will reopen.
According to authorities, the motorist escaped the collision unharmed.
