Third Arrest Made in May Shooting that Left One Dead, Two Injured

Las Vegas, NV – A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred in May. The incident, which began as a street fight, escalated to gunfire, leaving one victim dead and two others injured.
The shooting took place on May 18th in the 7300 block of Prairie Falcon Road around 4:00 pm. When officers arrived at the scene, they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, identified by the Clark County Coroner as 41-year-old Carl Chester Jr., tragically died at the scene.
The latest arrest, 52-year-old Monroe Jones, occurred on Monday, July 15th. He has been booked into Clark County Detention Center on charges of open murder.
This arrest follows the apprehension of two other suspects, 63-year-old Michael Mays (arrested July 10th) and 29-year-old Keveon Glenn (arrested in May). Both men are also facing open murder charges.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the victims were approached by a group of unknown individuals. One victim became involved in a physical altercation, and one of the attackers used a firearm, shooting multiple victims before fleeing the scene.
