Third Suspect Arrested in Apartment Complex Shooting That Endangered Children

Las Vegas, NV – More than three months after a gunfight at an apartment complex endangered the lives of two young children, a third suspect has been arrested and faces numerous charges.
Incident Details:
- The shooting occurred on October 30, 2023, at a complex near Nellis Boulevard.
- David Holmes, 19, was arrested on February 14th and faces 14 charges, including firing into an apartment where a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old were present.
- Two other suspects, Antoine Washington and Brandon Haynes, were previously apprehended.
Investigation and Charges:
- The shooting reportedly stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Haynes’ current and former girlfriends.
- Accounts of who fired first vary, but the report confirms gunfire from both the apartment balcony and the ground towards it.
- Witnesses described hearing numerous shots, and evidence includes bullet impacts in the apartment and casings near the complex.
- Holmes faces charges including grand larceny, burglary, attempted larceny, assault with a deadly weapon, and discharging a firearm where people could be endangered.
- He remains in custody and awaits a preliminary hearing on March 6th.
